Indigenous Eye Health Resource
The International Centre for Eye care Education recently launched “I See for Culture” - an eye health education resource kit for health workers in Australia’s Indigenous communities. The launch was held in Darwin on Monday 5 October, with guest speakers: The Honourable Warren Snowdon MP (Minister for Indigenous Health, Rural and Regional Health and Regional Services Delivery), Professor Brien Holden (ICEE Chief Executive Officer) and Mark Ella (former Australian Wallabies Captain, and Ambassador of the I See for Culture campaign).

The kit contains two flipcharts: ‘All about Eyes’ and ‘Trachoma, Cataract, Diabetes and your Eyes’, posters, an eye model, simulator masks and an information booklet.
